Melissa & Doug Slice and Bake Cookie Set Review

I am a huge fan of Melissa and Doug. So I guess you could say I am already a bit bias. I was very excited to receive a Melissa & Doug Slice and Bake Cookie Set for review. My daughter was even more excited when they came in the mail.

The Melissa & Doug Slice and Bake Cookie Set comes with the following:

• 12 cookies
• 18 colorful toppings
• knife
• spatula
• kitchen mitt
• cookie sheet
• cardboard container to hold cookies and toppings

My daughter is two so of course at first she thought they were real cookies when she saw the Melissa & Doug Slice and Bake Cookie Set. She had a blast with them even after she realized it was a wooden play cookie set. She played with the Melissa & Doug Slice and Bake Cookie Set all last night and all today. She even got her 6 month old brother involved playing with her and her new toy. It is the cutest thing you ever seen. I have enjoyed watching them play with the Melissa & Doug Slice and Bake Cookie Set.

I think this would be an awesome toy to go with a play kitchen or a tea party set. All kids love pretend and they love using their imaginations. I say we fuel those imaginations with toy and products such as the Melissa & Doug Slice and Bake Cookie Set. I guess in a way, if you think about it, this product could be considered educational for that reason. I love educational toys.

This product seems safe for kids. There are no choking hazards or anything that might suggest otherwise. You connect with cookies and cookies with some sort of Velcro. Same goes for the cookies and cookie pan.

The Melissa & Doug Slice and Bake Cookie Set only costs $20 on average. You can find it here on Growing Tree Toys .

In conclusion I would recommend this product. It would make a wonderful gift for some lucky girl. I can’t think of any reason not to get it.

Melissa and Doug have many wonderful products you can view here. I am a huge fan of all their products and I believe many kids would have fun playing with these products.
