Holy Donuts Review & Contest Reminder

I finally received my samples from Holy Donuts for review and I was VERY impressed. When people think low fat or frozen they usually think well that can’t taste very good. Well holy donuts not only taste as good or better then the other donut competitors but they are also healthier then the other donut competitors.

I received 3 assortments for review and I was so excited to try them out. I got 1 assortment of different donuts, 1 assortment of the reduced fat cinnamon buns, and 1 assortment of the low fat cinnamon strudel. Out of all these it was a tie between the cinnamon buns and the Low Fat Classic Vanilla Frosted that came out of the assortment of different donuts.

My daughter loved these donuts as well. If it were up to her she would have ate them all. I enjoyed watching her eat them. She had a lot of fun and that was fun for me too.

The great news is the donuts consisted of 3 grams of fat and the cinnamon buns consisted of 5 grams of fat. This is considerable a lot less than most donut competitors. I love that these donuts are friendly to the weight watchers diet. It is nice to know that those of us that re dieting can enjoy the simple joys of life such as donuts.

Holy Donuts flavors are not to overpowering or sweet and they are not too bland. They have the equal amount of flavor they should have to balance out their wonderful taste. I found them wonderfully pleasant and satisfying. I think they were as good as the donuts you pick up in the bakery. I can honestly say, I love Holy Donuts!

You have to order Holy Donuts online so they come frozen in the mail so you have to defrost them. I defrosted my Holy Donuts in the microwave. Just remember not to leave them in the microwave to long. You want to defrost them not cook them. That will make them hard and lose flavor.

I wish you didn’t have to order your Holy Donuts online to receive them. I wish they had Holy Donut chains. It would be nice just to go to one and get your donuts instead of waiting for your order to come it. It is not a long wait but I would love to just walk into a shop and buy them when I wanted.

The assortments cost usually from $12 to $16 an assortment. This is a bit expensive but they usually always have discounts going on online. Plus the health benefits are well worth it.

In conclusion, I would recommend Holy Donuts. I feel this would make a healthy snack that the whole family could enjoy and benefit from.
